2022 NEMRR Rulebook
There are a number of major changes in 2022, so be sure to read the rulebook carefully!
NEMRR Transponders
NEMRR racing is scored using MyLaps transponders. The models approved for use are Tranx260 and X2/TR2. New licensed riders will get a free transponder. Novice or out of region riders may rent a transponder for $35/day. NEMRR Amateur and Expert riders are required to own a transponder.
Transponders must be mounted on the front of the motorcycle inline with the front fork tubes. Most racers mount this device to the upper fork leg, unless if there is a solid mount inside the fairing on their model machine. Be sure that if you mount your Transponder to the fork leg that you ensure that the mount cannot spin around the fork tube (a small strip of Duct tape works).
Rental Transponder Return
If you get home and find a rental transponder on your bike and do not want to be charged $750, please send it to the address below right away:
